Program Prerequisite Requirements

  • Certified copy of High School Diploma/GED transcript
  • American Heart Association BLS for Health Care Providers Certification
  • Current State of Florida EMT License
  • Background Check
  • Drug Testing
  • Successful completion of approved Anatomy & Physiology course by October 31. Please Click Here for approved Anatomy & Physiology Classes.
  • Must be 18 years or older

Paramedic Teaches:

  • Paramedic I – 248 hours
  • Paramedic II – 426 hours
  • Paramedic III – 426 hours

Industry Certifications Offered in this Program

  • Paramedic (EMT-P)

Program Length:

Paramedic 1100 hours: 12 months

Schedule:

B-shift friendly based on Charlotte County Fire/EMS shift schedule, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.

All clinical and field internships will be completed on A-shift or any C-shift that falls on a Saturday, Sunday, or scheduled day off from school (MLK day, Memorial day, etc.).
